We combined a couple recipes for the process and ingredient ratios. We preferred roasting the lion's mane over pan frying as we the flavour and texture was better. You can also use your favourite ready-made bbq sauce.
Prep lion’s mane
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 - 420 deg F.
2. Pull apart lion’s mane into strips, however don’t make them too small as they will shrink when roasted.
3. Roast lion’s mane in oven on a sheet pan, after 5 - 10 minutes check for development of crispy edges. IMPORTANT: Use care when opening oven, this process will generate a lot of steam that will billow out so stand back.
4. Remove once mushrooms develop some colour, but before they become burnt. Then continue with the process from the recipes suggested.
